‘The Shepton Mallet Caving Club based on the Mendips always encourage University groups to stay at our Cottage in Priddy, this year should see the finish of our new extension which will be great. If given enough notice the club can always organise leaders for groups and special trips depending on what the University groups want out of the caving weekend, we also hold keys for all the locked caves and leaders for those trips that need to be lead by an official leader. Mendip (Burrington): University of Bristol caving Club- classiest hut on mendip. Ultra-modern facilities include long-drop toilet and usually-running water. Hot showers if you bring a black bag you can put holes in and the sun shines:

Camping advice

Accommodation at the CHECC forum is usually a patch of grass + toilet facilities, so you’ll usually have to bring a tent, sleeping bag and roll mat.
