CHECC is a national organisation set up to support and encourage caving amongst university students.

We focus on:

  • Safety: Working to produce a unified set of safety guidelines, which all clubs can use. This is to protect existing clubs and make starting new ones easier.The guidelines will be approved by the BCA.
  • Training: Aim to ensure that all university clubs achieve regular, affordable training that is acceptable to Athletic Unions.
  • Expeditions: To aid university clubs in organising expeditions and trips abroad by improving communication and access to relevant information.

CHECC offer training weekends to member university clubs. Training ranges from basic leader training to advanced SRT techniques.
